The Academy of Country Music is proud to announce today the first wave of performers for the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards show. Kelly Clarkson, Luke Bryan, Hunter Hayes, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, George Strait and The Band Perry are all scheduled to perform as part of a star studded evening. In addition to co-hosting the event, up and coming star Luke Bryan has four ACM nominations, including Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year for Tailgates and Taglines and Vocal event of the Year. Veteran ACM winner and multi-platinum sensation, Kelly Clarkson, is expected to light up the stage with her performance and is also nominated for Vocal Event of the Year.
