Allen Shapiro

Allen Shapiro is CEO of Dick Clark Productions and Managing Partner of Mosaic Media Investment Partners.  He was most recently a Founder and President of Mosaic Media Group & Chairman of TV Guide Network & TVGuide.com. Shapiro serves as Executive Producer on DCP’s flagship programming including the “American Music Awards,” “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest,” “Golden Globe Awards,” “Academy of Country Music Awards,” and “So You Think You Can Dance” in addition to overseeing the development, production and licensing of the company’s other high profile properties. In October 2012, Mr. Shapiro once again became CEO of Dick Clark Productions (DCP) after the company was purchased from Redzone Capital Management by Guggenheim Partners, Mandalay Entertainment and Mosaic Media Investment Partners. In 2004, Mr. Shapiro facilitated the leveraged buyout of DCP from Dick Clark and became CEO of the company. Three years later, DCP was successfully sold to RedZone Capital Management in June 2007. Mr. Shapiro is also currently the Managing Partner of Mosaic Media Investment Partners and was most recently the Founder and President of Mosaic Media Group. Mosaic Media was formed as a talent management company representing such artists as Will Ferrell, Jim Carrey, Green Day, and Alanis Morissette and as a production company producing such films as Get Smart and The Dark Knight.  As President, Mr. Shapiro expanded Mosaic from an entertainment service business into an asset management company by investing in and controlling strategic media assets and continues to lead the company in his role as Managing Partner. In addition to DCP, Mosaic Media successfully bought and sold Hamstein Music Group, owner of the ZZ Topp and Clint Black Catalogues and Daksel Seldak Music, owner of the Aerosmith Catalogue. Mosaic Media Investment Partners recently acquired the TIME LIFE infomercial business, one of the most successful direct marketing operating companies. As Chairman of TV Guide Network and TVGuide.com, Mr. Shapiro was responsible for steering TV Guide’s overall business strategy, while also overseeing its P&L operations and long-term growth. TV Guide Network and TVGuide.com are part of a joint venture of Lionsgate, the leading next generation studio, and One Equity Partners, the private equity group of JPMorgan Chase. Prior to joining Mosaic, Mr. Shapiro served as President / CEO of The IndieProd Company, where he arranged the sale of the Company to Carolco Pictures Inc. While at IndieProd, the company produced numerous films and television shows including Universal Soldier, Air America, Roxanne, L.A. Story, Footloose and All That Jazz. In 1983, Mr. Shapiro joined, and subsequently became a partner at, the law firm Gipson Hoffman & Pancione. The firm represented numerous entertainment clients including Robert Redford, Sean Connery, and Miramax. Shapiro also headed the music practice of the prestigious Kaplan, Livingston, Goodwin, Berkowitz & Selvin firm and specialized in music and entertainment law in private practice. Mr. Shapiro’s professional career began in his hometown of Chicago, IL in the Office of the General Counsel at Playboy Enterprises, Inc. Mr. Shapiro resides in Los Angeles CA.

Michael Mahan

Michael Mahan is the President of DC Media and a Partner of Mosaic Media Investment Partners.  As President, he oversees DC Media’s revenues, business affairs, finances, foreign distribution operations, and pursuits of acquisition opportunities. Mr. Mahan brings a wealth of experience to this position from his previous post as President of the TV Guide Network and tvguide.com as well as co-owner of Direct Holdings Global, a leading direct response company and the exclusive licensee of the Time Life brand for use on television.  Mahan led the transformation of TV Guide Network from a guidance-focused utility network to a full-screen entertainment destination available in 81 million homes.  During his tenure, Mahan successfully completed deals with Comcast, Dish Network, Verizon, Time Warner, Cox and Charter. Prior to TV Guide, Mr. Mahan was most recently Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for dick clark productions, inc., where he was responsible for strategic transactions and initiatives across numerous divisions including  foreign sales, media licensing, mobile, internet and home video.  He also played a pivotal role in the successful sale of dcp in June 2007.  Previously, Mr. Mahan spent over three years at CDP Capital Entertainment, a division of Caisse de dépôt, where he focused on private equity transactions in the media and entertainment industry; acted as an observer on the board of Lakeshore Entertainment Group; led the business development team for eWanted.com, a leading reverse auction company; and worked in the business development team for Checkout.com, an online entertainment company focused on content and commerce for music and movies.

Orly Adelson

Orly Adelson serves as President of dick clark productions (dcp). Adelson joined dcp from her own company, Orly Adelson Productions in February of 2008. Recognized as one of the most prominent and distinguished producers in independent entertainment finance, development and production, Adelson was named as one of Hollywood Reporter’s “Power 100 Women in Entertainment” as well as Variety’s “Women of Impact.” Adelson was also named as one of the 100 most powerful people in sports in America by the Sports Business Journal. Adelson has created a dynamic, diverse and eclectic slate of high profile properties including scripted television series, feature length television movies, and reality programming for major networks. Her work has both received and been nominated for numerous awards, including Emmy Awards, SAG Awards, Independent Spirit Awards, WGA Awards, NAACP Award, and AFI Awards.

Barry Adelman

As EVP of Television for dick clark productions, Barry Adelman has earned eleven Emmy nominations for producing and writing. He has written for Presidents Clinton, Bush and Reagan, including Reagan’s New Year’s Address to the Nation. He also holds the unique honor of having written the eulogy at Elvis Presley’s funeral.

Michael Antinoro is Executive Vice President of Programming for Dick Clark Productions. His vast experience includes a tenure at ESPN where he served as the Executive Producer of ESPN Original Entertainment (EOE) as well as the Executive Producer for NBA Entertainment and as EVP of Entertainment and Marketing at Six Flags, Inc.. At EOE, Antinoro created and produced original non-traditional sports entertainment programming including reality, competition, talk, game show, award show, documentary, investigative series, movies, scripted series, live events, specials and The World Series of Poker franchise. He is a winner of the Peabody Award for Journalism and has been nominated for more than 20 Sports Emmys. In his role as EVP of Programming At Dick Clark Productions, Antinoro has been responsible for producing programs such as “The American Giving Awards” and “The NFL Awards” on NBC and “Deadly Sins” on Discovery ID.

Bob Bardo
