2011 American Music Award winner Adele has done it again!

She has become the first female artist in history to be named by Billboard as the top recording artist, having the top album for “21,” and top single for “Rolling in the Deep” in one year alone!

Adele’s album “21” was inspired by a failed relationship, with the songs showing undertones of love, heartache, and moving forward in the face of adversity. “Rolling in the Deep” beat out such artists as LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem,” Katy Perry’s “Firework,” and Pitbull’s “Give me Everything”, to name a few.

Adele has also become the first singer to secure 3 amazing milestones, which includes ranking at the top of the iTunes music chart this year for her single “Rolling in the Deep,” for her album “21,” and being named iTunes Artist of the Year.

Adele has also earned six nominations for this year’s Grammy Awards!
