American Music Award winning artist Adele is about to set another record. In one more week, her album 21 will hold the same record as Prince’s “Purple Rain” in 1984 and 1985, for staying at number one on Billboard’s charts for 23 non-consecutive weeks. By now, Adele has almost sold 8 million album copies in the US.

Adele has had a phenomenal year, taking home 6 Grammys in January, and more recently, 2 Brit Awards. Click below to hear her song “Someone Like You” now:
