Alec Baldwin (“30 Rock”) spilled the beans Monday in his WNYC podcast “Here’s the Thing” that Justin Bieber, singer and former American Music Awards performer, is “confirmed” to host SNL sometime this year. Baldwin made the statement off-handedly while reading names off of executive producer Lorne Michaels’ office cork board which lists the show’s hosts.

As the Huffington Post writes, after reading a string of celebrity names, Baldwin almost stopped himself by saying, “I don’t want to ruin any other names,” but then continued, “[but] Bieber’s confirmed, he’s the music and the [host].”
