American Music Award winning artist Justin Bieber’s mom, Pattie Mallette, has just signed a book deal with Revell Books for what will be titled: Nowhere But Up: The Story of Justin Bieber’s Mom.

As a young girl and into her adult years, Mallette suffered abuse and addiction, and became pregnant at the age of 18. Through her story of turning her life around when she found herself single and pregnant with Justin, she hopes the book will be an inspirational story to other women: “I want them to see that no matter how desperate their circumstances may be, they can have hope for a better future.” The book is set to be released September 18th, with Justin writing the foreword for his mom.

Mallette’s son is no stranger to writing either: Justin has already published his first book, First Step 2 Forever: My Story, and will be releasing a second in September. Click below to see a trailer for his biographical movie which was released last year:
