Last night, American Music Award winning artist Kanye West put on an unannounced performance at S.O.B’s 30th anniversary showcase at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas. Kanye and rapper Big Sean joined new fellow Def Jam signee 2 Chainz for a performance of Sean’s “Dance (A–)” and “Marvin Gaye & Chardonnay”, and Kanye’s “Can’t Tell Me Nothing.” West will be continuing his Watch the Throne tour in Europe in May. Wednesday’s performance wasn’t Kanye’s first time at SXSW: last year, he performed at the festival with Jay-Z in a former power plant. Other rappers in the showcase included artists such as Machine Gun Kelly, Miguel, and Elle Varner.
