American Music Award winning artist Katy Perry’s brand new single “Part of Me,” which she debuted at the Grammys on Sunday, has hit #1 on iTunes. In response, the singer has tweeted: “My proceeds of #PARTOFME from ITUNES & others will go to one of my favorite charities for the arts, MUSICARES.” According to its mission statement, MusiCares “provides a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need.”

The song gained attention after Perry’s performance, as many speculated that the stinging lyrics had been directed at her now ex-husband Russell Brand. Click below to hear her #1 hit now:
