American Music Award winning artist Katy Perry has just made Billboard’s 20th #1 single debut in the history of the “Hot 100.” “Part of Me” premiered at the highest opening week debut since Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way.” Perry’s song was released for digital download on Monday, February 13th, and has racked up 411,000 as of today. “Born This Way,” released last year, closed it’s first week at 448,000, according to the Neilsen Soundscan.

Perry’s song provoked head turning when she changed the lyrics to the final version to include what seemed like references to her ex-husband, Russell Brand. Click below to hear the song now!
