Billboard has reported that American Music Award performers LMFAO have hinted that they would like to develop a movie. During a conference call to promote their upcoming tour, Sky stated: “Oh yeah, we’ve got some stuff up our sleeves now…We can’t give it all away, but [a movie] is something we’ve definitely been thinking about and putting out in the universe for a minute.” Sky’s partner and uncle Redfoo agreed that “an LMFAO movie is very exciting” but it “might be too much for the world. You might have to do some sit-ups and stuff [because] you might be laughing…you might have to stretch your stomach muscles.” Redfoo also stated that the movie would strive to be more interactive than what you would find in theaters today, citing ideas such as encouraging people to tweet after certain prompts. The pair will start touring May 22.
The two also made it clear that recent rumors of their breakup were that and nothing more, stating: “It’s completely false…we’re family at the end of the day, so that is stronger than anything.” Click below to watch LMFAO’s latest music video, “Sorry for Party Rocking” now:
