Katy Perry will be appearing as a singing, pink-haired Sim in EA’s “Showtime” extension pack, to be released in March. Look for the singer in the Sims 3 trailer below!

This isn’t the first time American Music Awards performer Perry has digitized herself – in 2006 she sang her hit single “Hot and Cold” in Simlish for a Sims 2 expansion pack. Check out her first video below:

In other news, Britney Spears has just teamed up with Hasbro to release “Twister Dance,” which will combine pop music tunes (including Spears’ “Till the World Ends”), LED lights, and the traditional Twister dance board. Said Spears in a press release:

As soon as I saw the new Twister Dance game, I knew I wanted to be involved. I think kids will love rocking the spots and dancing to the music as much as my boys and I do. It’s a lot of fun.
