American Music Award winning country star Taylor Swift has undoubtedly garnered worldwide success as a recording artist. Now, the young star has a chance to crossover to the silver screen with a role in one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2012.

BroadwayWorld is reporting that Swift has been offered a part in the screen adaptation of Les Miserables, playing the role of Eponine!

If Swift accepts the role, she would be joining an already star-studded cast that includes Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, and Sacha Baron Cohen!

Les Miserables goes into production this Spring, and is set to premiere in theaters in December of 2012.
