Beliebers everywhere just got a new reason to ring in the new year.

Pop sensation and reigning AMA Artist of the Year, Justin Bieber, will appear for a live performance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2012 in Times Square! He joins previously announced act, Lady Gaga for the 40th anniversary of the annual year end celebration.

The teen idol broke the news on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show this morning.  The festivities begin on Saturday, December 31st at 8:00 p.m., E.T. only on the ABC Television Network!  Check back to the dcp blog for more updates.
