dick clark productions and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association have jointly announced the date for their 70th annual Golden Globe Awards. The show will air on January 13, 2013 at 8-11 pm (ET), and will be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.

The Golden Globe Awards honor achievements in both motion pictures and television. Viewed in more than 160 countries, the Golden Globe Awards is one of the most watched a highly respected awards broadcasts in the world, bringing together celebrities and dignitaries from all walks of the entertainment industry.

The Cecile B. DeMille Award winner will be announced on November 1, 2012. The nominees for the 70th Annual Golden Globes will be announced on December 13, 2012.
