The new season of ‘Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’ will be one of the biggest projects ever undertaken by the reality show, according to producers.

The new season takes place in Joplin, Missouri, a town devastated by a massive tornado in May that killed 162 and destroyed about 2,000 buildings.

By working with families who lost their homes, the show sets an ambitious goal this season of building seven houses in seven days.

The show is due to air in January and all of the stories are sure to be not only heart-wrenching, they will also be heart-warming.
