The DCP Beat, with Luke

This is my third day at the Nokia! I’ve been able to watch some amazing rehearsals thus far. Last night I was treated to up-close and personal performances from Ne-Yo, Katy Perry, Diddy-Dirty Money and Ke$ha. Justin Bieber, and P!nk have rehearsed so far today. Everyone around seems to be particularly enthused about Justin Bieber. I believe scientists call this frenzy “Bieber Fever.” So far I haven’t succumbed to the malady. I must have some sort of natural immunity, plus I drink a lot of orange juice.
I was especially excited to see Diddy. Do you guys remember when he said “Ten years from now we’ll still be on top” in Mo Money Mo Problems? It turns out he was telling the truth!
I was also blown away by P!nk’s rehearsal. I can’t go into specific detail, but trust me, it is going to be amazing. I believe scientists call it “off the chain.”
Speaking of P!nk, I’ve noticed that both her and Ke$ha have symbols in their names. This makes me want to put a symbol in my name. I’m left with a few options:
L@ke, 7uke, Lu*e, Luk#, !uke, (uke, L&ke, or XXXX.
I’ll give this some more thought.
I almost forgot to mention the excitement surrounding the New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys performing together. Of course, I call them by the simple acronym NKOTB/BSB. I’ve been asking crewmembers and employees who their favorite New Kid is. So far, 9 out of 10 say Donnie Wahlberg. The others say Joey Fatone, but I think they are confused.
